Mr. James Lewis is a licensed Physical Therapist and is the clinic manager and co-owner at Allen Sports and SpineCare, L.L.P. A native of Texas, James graduated from Plano in 1986. He later received his Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University of Dallas (TWU) in 1997. Prior to entering Physical Therapy, James served six years in the U.S. Air Force and is a Gulf War Veteran.

James has over 10 years of experience treating patients with general orthopedic injuries sustained from work and play. He specializes in the treatment of spine, shoulder and knee injuries. James also treats vestibular and balance disorders. He has enhanced his skills with hundreds of hours of continuing education. In 2006 he obtained recognition as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT).  

He also enjoys teaching tomorrow’s physical therapists and in 2004 was awarded Clinical Instructor of the Year by the Texas Physical Therapy Association.

James has strong ties to Allen’s athletic population, treating many of the area’s high school athletes as well as collegiate and professionals from many sports. James and his wife, Wendy, live in Plano along with their two children. In his spare time, he enjoys bird hunting, woodworking and home improvement projects.
