Kristen Brehm attended the University of Texas at Austin before obtaining her Masters of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1999. Before joining Southwest Sports and Spine, Kristen gained experience practicing in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine facilities in the Fort Worth/Arlington area. She specializes in treating overhead athletes, and has worked closely with the Texas Rangers, UTA and TCU baseball players.

Kristen has attended numerous specialized continuing education courses emphasizing the spine and extremities, utilizing a manual physical therapy approach. She is currently preparing for her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification.

In her leisure time, Kristen enjoys traveling, swimming and running. She is a member of the Dallas Masters Swim Club and completed her second marathon in October, 2004.
